Product introduction
Omldeen surge protection Device (SPD) (also known as lightning arrester, lightning arrester, surge protector, overvoltage protector) is suitable for lightning electromagnetic pulse (LEMP) protection of TN-S, TN-C-S, TT, it and other power supply systems with AC 380V (50 Hz / 60Hz) and below. It is used at the junction of lpz1 and lpz2 in lightning strike area. Its design basis is in accordance with the technical standards of GB 18802.1 and iec61643-1
Functional features
1. Optional remote signal terminal alarm function, convenient for remote alarm monitoring.
2. It can withstand 20ka (8 / 20 μ s) lightning current impact.
3. The response time is less than 25ns.
4. Flame retardant shell design, can be easily installed on 35mm electrical guide rail.
5. The built-in thermal trip failure separation device can automatically disconnect the protector due to overheating and breakdown failure.
6. The color of visual alarm window indicates the working state of protection, green (normal) and red (fault).

This series of surge protective devices are suitable for class II lightning protection and over-voltage protection. They are used at the junction of lpz1 and lpz2 in lightning strike areas. Precautions for installation of surge protector
1. Surge protective devices are installed in parallel in the line, and.
2. Please do not connect the circuit in reverse or wrong way.
3. The closer the surge protector is installed at the front end of the protected equipment, the better the effect is.
4. The equipment needs regular inspection and must be replaced immediately after deterioration.
5. Remember not to work with live line.
6. The grounding must be good and the grounding resistance should not be greater than 4 Ω.
7. The front end of surge protector should be equipped with short circuit device to avoid fire caused by short circuit after deterioration of lightning protection device.
