OMRDON Coaxial RF Surge Protective Devices are specially designed to provide professional lightning protection for antenna feeder line equipment in communication, broadcasting systems, and more. We offer customized solutions based on your specific frequency bands, connector interfaces, performance technical parameters, and other requirements, and also accept OEM/ODM orders, aiming to meet your precise needs.

● Based on whether the antenna requires power supply, there are two main types:

I. “DC Block” Type: Used for passive antenna systems. Its characteristic is “only allows signals within the frequency band to pass through, while blocking signals outside the band and DC current.” It features high surge handling capacity and extremely low residual pressure after calibration. The operating frequency bands are relatively narrow, e.g., 1.5-700MHz, 10-700MHz, 10-1000MHz, 100-512MHz, 125-1000MHz, 380-512MHz, 700-2700MHz, 800-2500MHz, 4.4-5.2GHz, 5.0-6.0GHz, etc. Common types like the 1/4 wavelength type and capacitor isolated/combined types fall into this category. Choosing incorrectly may result in the inability to power active antennas.

II. “DC Pass” Type: Used for active antenna/tower amplifier systems. Its characteristic is “signal and power are transmitted together.” This type is further divided into two subtypes:

♦ “Direct Feed” Type: Commonly uses GDT (Gas Discharge Tube) as the protective component. Due to its typically low capacitance value, the operating frequency band can be very wide, e.g., 0-2.5GHz, 0-3GHz, 0-6GHz, 0-8GHz, etc. The residual pressure is relatively high. Note: This type cannot be used when the DC feed voltage to the antenna is high.

♦ “Bias Feed” Type: Characterized by the ability to suppress high surge currents, extremely low residual pressure, and it “only allows signals within the frequency band to pass through, blocking signals outside the band,” while being able to feed power to the antenna. Different feed voltages can be selected. The operating frequency bands are relatively narrow, e.g., 1.5-100MHz, 1.75-400MHz, 40-400MHz, 400-1200MHz, 689-2700MHz, 800-1000MHz, 800-2600MHz, 1400-1600MHz, 1200-2700MHz, etc.

● Technical Characteristics: The product line comprehensively covers mainstream RF connector interfaces such as 7/16DIN(L29), L27, N Type, 4.3-10 Type, SMA Type, TNC Type, BNC Type, etc. Selection can be made based on key parameters including frequency range, VSWR/Insertion Loss requirements, RF power handling capacity, and whether DC feed is needed, ensuring perfect compatibility with your equipment.

● Industry Applications: We offer dedicated antenna feeder protectors specifically designed for 5G/4G mobile communication base stations, broadcast television and satellite reception-grade high-power antenna feeder surge protection products, as well as a series of feeder lightning arresters suitable for scenarios like microwave transmission and indoor distribution systems. We also support customized product solutions.

We not only provide high-quality products but are also committed to offering professional and reliable overall protection strategies and safety assurances for your antenna feeder systems.
